Disabilities Ministry Leadership Council
We have a Disabilities Ministry Leadership Council for the Archdioce. This volunteer council guides our ministry and we have embraced the notion that all belong in our parishes and schools. We seek to inspire the church community and all society to embrace and empower persons with disabilities to realize their full potential to know, love and serve the Lord, as well as achieve full membership and belonging in our faith community. 2025 Mass for People with Disabilities
We sponsoried a special Mass to celebrate people with disabilities at Divine Child Church in Dearborn on May 4, 2025. .
Inclusion in Ministry Course
We created a easy to complete Inclusion in Ministry course for Parish leaders.
This program features many of our lessons learned, step by step instructions, and comments from many of our inclusive leaders across the Archdiocese of Detroit.
