Who We Are:
We are passionate advocates for people with disabilities inspired to enable all God's children to know, love and serve him.
The Disabilities Ministries Leadership Council are leaders from across the Archdiocese of Detroit dedicated to leading people with disabilities to Jesus in the Catholic Church of Southeast Michigan.
What We Do:
We seek to inspire
the church community and all society to embrace and empower persons with disabilities to realize their full potential to know, love and serve the Lord, as well as achieve full membershipand belonging in our faith community.
Why We Do It:
it is what we are called to do
We believe all are equal in God's eyes and we are all born in his image and likeness. All have an inherent spirit longing for belonging. We embrace our discipleship to fully embrace and include people with disabilities in all aspect of Parish life. In the process we hope to enrich their life and faith life......as well as o
